Down lights mounted under cabinets that light shines directly down onto the worktop without creating shadows.

LED (light emitting diode) is a solid state device and does not require the heating of a filament; electricity is passed through a chemical compound that generates light and signifies a cool operating temperature.

LED lights are an energy efficient alternative to halogen lights - a 1.4W LED lamp has the equivalent consumption wattage to a 15W halogen lamp.

LED lights have a long lamp life of 40,000 hour on average and are therefore low maintenance.

Different coloured LEDs are available making a variety of lighting effects possible - white a\nd blue LEDs are shown here.

GX53 LED all have 39 diodes, thereby giving a brighter light.

These lights are each supplied with a 1.5m cable with male connectors for connecting straight to 240V supply using the 6 way distributor.

Although these lights have 39 diodes they still maintain a low operating temperature and are economical to run.

The average lamp life is 50,000 hours which means lamps have to be replaced less often, lamp replacement is however simple and easy to do.
